FolioTrax mobile application

FolioTrax is a portfolio tracking application. The data you enter into FolioTrax — including financial accounts, holdings, transactions, and personal notes — is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account managed by Apple. We do not have access to this data.

FolioTrax does not require account creation, does not collect personally identifiable information about you, and does not transmit your portfolio data to our servers.

Market data requests

To display current prices, FolioTrax requests publicly available market data through third-party providers. These requests contain only the symbols you track (for example, "AAPL"), not your identity or holdings. No personal data is shared with these providers.

Subscriptions and purchases

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment method, billing address, or full transaction details. We only receive aggregated, anonymized purchase information that Apple makes available to developers.

Automatically collected information

Our website may collect standard server log information, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, and basic site analytics. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and mobile applications.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

5. Data storage and security

For FolioTrax, your portfolio data lives on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account. We do not store this data on our servers and cannot access it. Apple's iCloud security is governed by Apple's own privacy and security practices.

For website inquiries, any information you send to us by email is stored in our business email system and used only to respond to you and maintain a record of the conversation.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your choices

• You can delete the FolioTrax app from your device at any time, which removes the data stored locally on that device.
• You can manage or delete your iCloud data through your iPhone settings.
• You can manage your subscription, including cancellation, through your Apple ID account settings on your device.
• You can contact us to request that we delete email correspondence we hold about you.

7. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. International users

Our services are operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

FolioTrax is a personal portfolio tracking tool. Market data displayed in the app is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
